CULTURAL
CLASSROOM PRESENTATIONS...
...a
unique teaching resource that brings world culture to the classroom
and helps students connect with their peers
worldwide.
A
program of Children's Culture Connection, Cultural Classroom
Presentations (CCP) is a teaching
supplement
and resource for social studies teachers and youth group leaders
that want to help
their students learn about world culture in constructive and
experiential ways.
CCP
arranges presentations and
age-appropriate discussions on life in 12 different cultures
through native representatives, photo displays, indigenous
artifacts, craft techniques, games, music, and
food.
CCP
also provides:
-Brief
language lessons
-Indigenous
recipes
-Curriculum
handouts
-Links
to other online cultural resources

Just as
important, CCP encourages American youth to
embrace
their role as global citizens by helping them connect with their
peers abroad.
Through
our relationships with the 12 nonprofits, we provide the
resources for American
students to foster peaceful relationships by sharing their own
culture with
children
in these international programs through:
-Letters
-Drawings
-Photography
-Videos
-Craft-making
Levels
of interaction can vary from simple message of support and
friendship to
school-wide
cultural care package exchanges.
